Family-Centered Care

We pride ourselves on providing individualized care for each child, depending on their unique needs, and the goals of both caregivers and physicians. Families and caregivers are essential participants in the care and decisions that affect the care of the child.

We provide developmentally appropriate support to brothers and sisters, and support families staying together during their child’s hospital stay.

Child Life Specialists

Our Child Life Specialists are trained professionals who help children and their families overcome challenging events. They provide emotional support for families and caregivers, and encourage optimum development of children facing hospitalization. Our team understands that a child’s well-being depends on the support of families and caregivers, and works with each family to provide the information, guidance or help they need.
